This LIMITED EDITION (/100) t-shirt is a must-have for fans of music and the National Public Housing Museum. It features a design inspired by the On the Lawn concert series, which celebrates the musical contributions of public housing residents and communities across the country.
On the Lawn was held at Millennium Park in Chicago on August 25, 2023 and celebrated 50 years of hip-hop! The concert was hosted by legendary rapper Roxanne Shanté (Queensbridge) and featured music by hip-hop icon DJ Spinderella (Pink Houses), as well as performances by Isaiah Sharkey (Cabrini-Green), Reginald Robinson (Henry Horner Homes), Slique Jay Adams (ABLA), and Christopher “Mad Dog” Thomas (Altgeld Gardens).
This shirt design is a collaboration between youth from Chicago Public Housing and Aceism CID, Inc., a local Chicago-area Black-owned design and printing firm. Aceism produced and printed the shirts and is committed to creating high-quality products that celebrate diversity and community.
The t-shirt is made of a Gildan Softstyle T-Shirt 64000, which is a comfortable and stylish 100% cotton shirt. It is available in a variety of sizes.
